Notes from the Chair...

Hello!

Just thought I'd write a few notes on my experience of chairing this project's meetings for this first week, which has been a generally pleasant experience. I am pleased to say that we have a good group, who don't really need much managing. Everyone is able to express a view, and each individual waits patiently for others to speak, which really lends itself to productive group meetings. It will be interesting to see how we evolve when tasks become more complex, take longer and adopt a particular direction. I generally try and minute any decisions made and/or tasks assigned, and keep a handle on what we need to have done by when.

We've not been stuck for ideas at the start of what appears to be shaping up as a really exciting project, and the next week will bring some direction when we follow up our initial client meeting with both Richard Crook, of Sheffield City Council, and Arbourthorne Community Primary School.

Sam
