The meeting on Thursday with the main stakeholders in the Praise Pod project proved to be incredibly interesting and
in formative in terms of establishing the current success of the scheme in the Arbourthorne school and its immediate local community. The meeting consisted of Richard Crook, and various members of the school Governing body. We had a chance to look around the school facilities, and witness first hand the work the school is doing with the pupils, at all levels. One of the key immpressions we took away was how the 'Core Values' are central to the school developing a positive working and developing environment with the pupils, and to a lesser extent the parents.
We followed the main meeting up with an opportunity to engage first hand with a selection of pupils who are engaged with the Praise Pod. This confirmed our impressions as to the current success the scheme is having on the school and in time the whole community.
- The meeting served as a general introduction for Live Project 07 to the school, ‘praise pod’ concept, and key stakeholders.
- The meeting also served as an introduction for the key stakeholders to the members of Live Studio.
- We have been offered a room at the school every Thursday, between 1pm and 3pm, to use as we see fit.
- We have also been invited to attend the school’s Sparkle & Shine event, on any Friday morning at 9am
